Started in
1967 by Doug Johnson, a member of Harvey Littleton's first glass class at
UW-Madison, UWRF's glass program ranks as one of the oldest degree granting
glass programs in the United States. Jim Engbretson then ran the program for
many years until his retirement in 2009. 2012 was the 50th anniversary of

Labino. This exhibit focus' primarily on the early alumni of UWRF and the far
reaching impact of their careers over the past 45 years, as well as notable
more recent alumni working with the material. A reception will be held on
Thursday, Feb. 14, from 5:30-8 p.m. in Gallery 101, Kleinpell Fine Arts.
Gallery Hours:Monday through Friday 9 a.m. - 5 p.m., 7 - 9 p.m.
