Set in 16th or 17th century rural England but with a contemporary feel, "Vinegar Tom" is an early play by Obie Award Winning Author Caryl Churchill. It tells the story of two farm women who are named as witches by a man whom they have both spurned. The connection between fear of femaie sexuality and witch hysteria is shown to be at the root of many of society's problems.
Intended for mature audiences.
