The St. Croix Valley Symphony Orchestra presents "Fall Colors" with special guest artist  Carla Thelen Hanson, soprano

Boutwells Landing, Oak Park Heights, Minn.

The American soprano is Carla Thelen Hanson, who won rave reviews from the “New York Times” when she starred in “Tosca” at the New York City Opera. Carla, a versatile artist, will sing two arias from “Tosca” and American jazz favorites “Misty” and “Mack the Knife”.  Carla is in demand as a soloist and has performed internationally. 

Other selections on the program include Mozart’s “Overture to Cosi Fan Tutte”, plus “Pictures at an Exhibition” by Modest Mussorgsky:  Promenade, The Old Castle, and The Great Gate of Kiev.
